New Nine Weeks!

We have completed the 3rd Nine Weeks, so you can expect to see grades Thursday.

To get a good start on the 4th Nine Weeks, READ Chapter 11. Do Section 1, numbers 1-6, and Section 2, 1 and 2 by Tuesday the 9th. We started this Friday after the test. Today, we actually went over the section one answers in class, so this should not be difficult.

I also gave you the 4th Nine Weeks EXTRA CREDIT assignments. 1) Create an Industrial Revolution Dictionary with entries for each letter of the alphabet related to Industrial Revolution and this time period. Can be poster, on paper (like a booklet), or PowerPoint, but must be colorful and correct. I showed you an example in class.
2) If you are more hands-on and mechanically minded, create a working water mill. This does not have to be huge, but it does have to actually do something. Before you take on this assignment, let me know your plans so that you won't be going off in the wrong direction on this. I will give a due date soon, but it will probably be 6 or 7 weeks from now.
