The book is not enough!

Your book has very little to say about the French and Indian War, but it has a very important place in our history, and in the history of Canada. I hope these notes help give you a better overview of it. Also, you notice that I am spending a large amount of time on George Washington. I want to show you the development of an impetuous young man into the seasoned "Father of Our Country." Greatness does not happen overnight, and I hope you are inspired by someone who overcomes several devastating failures to reach great heights of success.

Be sure to study your notes. 4th through 7th, you have a shot at a pretest tomorrow. This is similar to the way you did spelling tests in elementary. Get it right the first time, and you don't have to do it again:) 1st through 3rd, we will quiz Friday. We will also have time this week to finish our questions from Washington's journal.
